Azərbaycan Respublikasının Prezidenti İlham Əliyev və birinci xanım Mehriban Əliyeva yanvarın 20-də – Ümumxalq Hüzn Günündə Şəhidlər xiyabanında 20 Yanvar şəhidlərinin xatirəsini yad ediblər.
Dövlət başçısı “Əbədi məşəl” abidəsinin önünə əklil qoyub.
Müdafiə Nazirliyinin əlahiddə nümunəvi hərbi orkestrinin ifasında Azərbaycan Respublikasının dövlət himni səslənib.
Dövlət və hökumət rəsmiləri, respublikamızdakı dini icmaların başçıları, xarici ölkələrin Azərbaycandakı səfirləri, beynəlxalq təşkilatların nümayəndələri də şəhidlərin əziz xatirəsini yad ediblər.
Şəhidlər xiyabanının ziyarət olunması mərasimində Baş nazir Artur Rasizadə, Milli Məclisin sədri Oqtay Əsədov, Prezident Administrasiyasının rəhbəri Ramiz Mehdiyev iştirak edirdilər. Qeyd edək ki, 1990-cı il yanvarın 20-də baş verən hadisələrin 28-ci ildönümü ilə əlaqədar səhər saatlarından 20 Yanvar şəhidlərinin məzarlarını ziyarət başlayıb.
